Wet N Wild Natural Wear Lip Shimmer

Wet N Wild's Natural Wear Lip Shimmer

I bought this today at our local Walgreens. The color I purchased was 105 which I believe is the one on the bottom right. It is subtle but still visible. The color is more sheer than the tub leads you to believe but is still very true to the tone of the cap. It has small flecks of very fine gold glitter in it which of course give it it's shimmer.

The product has a minty smell and a bit of a mint taste to it however it is not very strong. What is strong however is the minty feel of it on your lips. If you have ever used a lip plumping product this feels like it's weaker cousin.

The packaging is cute. It looks like a very natural, organic product. I noticed the sticker on the bottom portion of mine was put on a little lopsided and is flaking up on the edge. However, I believe this to be a minor defect and is probably not typical of all of the tubes.

I would probably compare this to Burt's Bee's Lip Shimmer in Rhubarb. The scent is practically the same as is the color. However, you get more bang for your buck with the Wet N Wild. (Burt's Bees retails for around $5 and only 0.09oz. Wet N Wild retails for $2 and you get 0.11oz.)

Pros: Very true to the advertised color, nice scent
Cons: The feel of the gloss may be irritating to those with sensitive lips
